Introduced in 1997, Developed by the U.S. Army as a form of urban recon and protection of secure areas.
Using inbuilt software the cypher automatically scouwers an area searching for objects and relaying its findings back to a server, before commencing the new series of orders.
It features in Metal Gear Solid 2 as a drone recon craft in both chapters and also a gun turret at the Big Shell.
