Known Facts: Born into an American family, David joined the US Army at the age of 16, quickly becaming an impressive soldier and eventually joined the Green Berets. As squad leader, David lead his team into Iran on missions to infiltrate enemy bases. In his early 20's he joined, Fox-Hound and was codenamed Solid Snake, for his excellent stealth and infiltration abilities. Working with Master Miller, Snake refined his skills and become their best agent behind Grey Fox, although he retired from service after the Outer Heaven incident. A man of Snakes talents didn't rest for long before being recruited by the CIA, David becomes a deep cover agent, not content with the bureaucracy surrounding the organisation (Solid Snake's main concerns, which were expressed rather vocally were met with an almost constant rebuttal). Solid Snake fought against the system before cutting all ties with the CIA. He disappears into the underworld earning a living for a number of years as a mercenary and offering his execution duties and skills to the highest bidders. Earning enough money to semi-retire, David moves to the Canadian wilderness. Where he rehabilitated in deep seclusion. Only Roy Campbell knew his whereabouts... In 1999 Roy brought Snake back for a serious development in the Middle East (Later known as the Uprising of Zanzibar land), placed back into the battlefield where Snake met, Frank Jaeger & Big Boss once again, but on the other side of the fence. After the death of Frank Jaeger & Big Boss. Snake returns to seclusion now in the Twin lakes area of Alaska, where he lives on the local florna, before long with the help of one Yup'ik (Eskimo) he started to live and train with Huskys for the great "Iditarod Trail Sleigh Race", yet just before the event David was forced back to Fox-Hound for one last mission in Shadow Moses. After which Fox-Hound was disbanded by George Sears. With the support of his new friend Hal Emmerich, David heelped found a new UN sanctioned group called Philanthropy, with the goal of informing and destoying Rex creations and any new American models. Given the Fox Die virus by Naomi, David lives by the moto to always fight for what he believes in, later he rescues Naomi from a detention center (Snake promised to protect here for Frank) and is able to recieve an antidote. During the Big Shell incident he learns about his other brother Solidus and about The Patriots. The question now is will David follow in his fathers final footsteps...?
