Known Facts: Born in Rhodesia, Naomi lost her parents at an early age to Frank Jaeger and was raised by him as his step sister, when Frank died Naomi moved to the US and assumed her current name of Naomi Hunter from a woman who had died, while mountaineering in Rockies. With her interests of who her real parents where she went to school and eventually graduated with a Science Degree, first working for Tokyo Police Science Lab as a DNA tester, she soon became disenchanted by the lack of precision in DNA testing and lack of adequate facilities. Leaving the job Naomi became a Genetic Counselor at a gene diagnosis firm but as before, she felt a paradox between her work with gene therapy and the natuaral order of life. (Especially regarding the patients he wa treating with untested therapies) After six months she resigned position amid investigating regarding her parents and family. Hunter emigrate to the U.S, where she joined abiotch business giant ATGC in Bioteech Bay California. Returning to her main love or research, she indulged in gene therapy and discovered a way to use a gene as a vector without using viruses or ribosomes. The upshot of this is that she was able to isolate and reprogram certain genes in order to produce a heightened sense of awareness neccassary for combat, a fighting operative known as a Genome Soldier. Her work was acknowledged and she was the recuited as a freelance member of the Fox-Hound medical staff. She also continued her biotech research, working in conjuction with ATGC and the Pentagon on the Genome Army project, after the National Institute of Health lowered the budget for the clinical testing of gene therapy. With a beautiful brown-skinned complextion, a soft spoken accent and relaxed but firm attitude to her employment her gene strengthening team affectionately call her Doctor Naomi rather than the more formal Doctor Hunter. A strong-willed woman she recently took complete charge of upgrading and maintaining the genetically altered Fox Hound members. Once every six months, she integates any newly discovered Soldier genes through gene therapy to all team members and conducts additional programming. This is achieved by implementing Hunter's newly discovered spreading gene tobe used as a vector, as well as a gene targeting method. Currentlyshe has been pulled off her research on "symmetrism" in order to add invaluable knowledge. She has applied gene therapy to many of the Fox Hound defectors and the U.S. government has denied her services invaluable. Naomi was in charge of producing a virus called Fox Die, which caused heart attack effects in selected targets using DNA targeting. Unknown to many the virus was recalibrated to affect Solid Snake as a wild card, so Solid Snake would live his life wondering when he may die. During the Shadow Moses, Master Miller (AKA Liquid Snake) catches her out when Naomi discusses what her father was involved in. Naomi was imprisoned for living under an assured name and changing the Fox Die virus. After the incident Naomi is freed by Solid Snake, who wished to know if there was a cure for the virus. Naomi’s current status is unknown.
