Known Facts: Serving in the US Marine Corps, Green Berets and Delta Force. He was selected to become the Strategic Planner for "Escape & Evade" missions for the Fox-Hound unit for his experience and strategic knowledge after the Outer Heaven Incident. Because of his skills and talents he was given commander status, Discarding the codename system, Roy pushs forward the unit concentrating more on training new operatives and the use of the latest technology to achive missions. Soon after the overhaul, Roy became troubled as many of the Operatives where becoming increasingly involved in Gene theapy. As a Result he stepped down. Now leaderless the group returned to using Codenames and over time became distant from the government before long a Renegade Splinter Group formed (NGSF). During this time Roy was serving as a special strategic instructor in the Marines Boot Camp, where he becames friends with another veteran called Master Miller. Roy is brought back in 2005 to help persuade the now retired Solid Snake to help them with Shadow Moses Incident. After the incident Roy returns to his family and retirement. Roy is officially Meryl’s uncle but is in actual fact Meryl’s Biological Father! Roy doesn’t appear again except as a manifestation created by the GW of Arsenal Gear and as a face of The Patriots created from Raidens memories & expectations. In MGS3 Roy appears at the award ceremony where he discuses the idea of an agent like Big Boss in the army, does this reveal him to be a member of the Patriots! only time will tell...
