Known Facts: Born in the US, Richard Ames was a member of the Secret Service for the U.S. government, working as an agent for The Patriots. During the 1990's Richard was married to Natasha Romanenko, but they later seperated 4 years later over home / work difficulties. During the Shadow Moses incident, Richard was the true comander of the mission and George Sears main contact during the events from the same location as Nastasha assisting with the codec messages with Solid Snake and the team over weapons. He later hands a copy of the Codec disk to Nastasha, before having to take off with his fellow agents (Probably to see George Sears) in 2009 Ames helps escort the current president arround the Big Shell, only to be captured by Solidus, Deadcell and the Gurlukavich soldiers. Found by Raiden with the rest of the hostages, Ames dies due to a computer form of Fox Die, triggered by Ocelot activating his pace maker to beat too quickly resulting in a simulated heart attack.
