With less than a month till Metal Gear Solid 4 is finally released here is a run down of the merchendice that will be made available in and arround the games launch:
JAPAN
The Console
- The Premium Package Version is limited to 1,500 (Konami Style have already sold out!)
It contains the Limited edition version of the game and "Steel" coloured 40GB Playstation 3 & Dualshock 3
- The Welcome Box Editions come with the standard version of the game, 40GB Playstation 3 in either Black, White or Silver & Dualshock 3
The Game
- Limited Edition, comes in a box sleeve containing 2 Blue Ray disks the game and a special Making of
- Standard Edition, it now features the same image as the USA version
The Merchendice
- Sony Ericsson W62S, Featured in the game it comes pre installed with Metal Gear Solid Mobile and comes in 3 colours
- Ganbale Snake, a mobile game made in collaboration with Kojima Productions, its a simple Tamagotchi style game were you help maintain Solid Snakes life as he works as a Salaryman (Japanese worker)
- UT - Unique, a collection of 6 t-shirts designed by Logan, Power Graphixx & Kusano Design Office, each shirt also comes in 2 colours
- Regain, like the Calary Mate in Metal Gear Solid 3, this is an item Snake can use to rebuild his stamina. Its an energy drink aimed at Salarymen to help them keep going, for a Limited time they come with 4 different dog tags
- Official Soundtrack, coming in a 2 disk Blue Ray case, the soundtrack will feature 47 songs from the game
- Metal Gear Solid 2 : Bande Dessinee, the 2nd Graphic Novel by IDW & Ashley Wood, it now on DVD instead of the failed UMD format its completely Dubbed and comes with the first Novel which is now dubbed.
- Official Guide, Made by Kodansha in partership with Konami it will be a complete guide on how to get the best out of Metal Gear Solid 4
USA
