TGS 2007 Special
Its been little over a month since the German games Conference took place and now another barrage of now intel has been revealed at a pre TGS conference at the Konami Digital Entertainment headquarters in Akasaka. Konami held a press conference to a selected number of gaming press to show off and announce their latest titles.
Before the Kojima came to the stage The Head and Producers of Konami showed off their new goods including
Silent Hill : Zero, Winning Eleven(Pro Evolution outside Japan) and the latest Music games.
Finally Kojima has taken the stage, and firstly shows off the new trailer for Metal Gear Solid 4, the trailer reveals a few new characters:
- Johnny (Akiba) - The masked man of the new foxhound, turns out its Sasaki!
- Drebin - The voice of the TGS trailer, he's the arms dealer to Snake, and the driver an AV later in the trailer
- Little Gray - Drebins friend, Ryan has stated he shall take a big part in the story
- Sonny - Finally we meet Olga's child, now 7 years old its seems to surgest you rescue her in part of the game
- Haven Trooper - An elite female guard that shoots first and is very quickly, they have the power suit of Vamp
But the biggest thing of the trailer had to be a fight between Metal Gear Ray (Ocelot) and Metal Gear Rex (Solid Snake) in the cold location of SHADOWMOSES!!!
Phew... The all new Metal Gear Online was shown once again they confirmed that it will now come as a starter park with Metal Gear (Add ons through the store no doubt) and like MGO it will feature characters from MGS4, Solid Snake is confirmed (Vamp, Raiden & Meryl also semi confirmed here)
Moving on a new trailer of Portable Ops Plus was released (Out in japan Tommorow) it basically went over all the modes for the add on. But what was new was that it confirmed backward online compatability, a new communication and voting system had also been setup. It was lastly reavealed Plus would be released outside Japan.
Kojima finally confirmed that Metal Gear Mobile shall be having a WOLDWIDE RELEASE! and that in Japan at least for now Metal Gear Solid 2 : Bande Dessinee (Digital Comic to you and me) will come with a fully dubbed version of the first game!!!
