Alan Smithee - This is a pseudonym used by film companies to hide the true identities of secret staff and cast.
The Butterfly - This is a subtle confermation that Big Boss is in MGS4 as in MGS3 he was trying to catch one, it also surgests we may meet an older Eva (She only disappeared)
Destructive Environment - Well this ties in with what Kojima has stated about realistic environments and the fact that hiding in places may be difficult.
Disguises - looking once again a "No Where to Hide" ideal it surgests that disguises will once again feature for locations where the only way to fit in is to be one of them.
Sam Fisher! - A Kojima joke to the rival stealth game.
Red Petals - This is a hint that their will be a big loss in the game of someone Snake loves, this could be Meryl or possibly Naomi.
CQC? - It may be in the new game but how would Snake know about it?

Special Groups - - these are the symbols used by military factions that are involved in use of Tanks and other armoured vehicles.
The Rings - These are the icons used by some radar to represent group movements and triangle's represent aircraft.

Colour Version

Stealth? - If you look carefully you will notice that Snake, Meryl and Raiden are wearing partial and full ninja suits, this may be like Solidus's allowing them to increase their capabilities in speed and strength, though Raidens looks more like a slightly updated skull suit.
Baby - Cradled in Raidens arms he has an uncanny resemilence to Olga, though the times scales make him to old to be her child, so Rose's child is the most likely.
Ocelot - If you look at his right arm it appears that Ocelot has decided to cut his ties with Liquids arm for a cyborg attachment, but is Liquid still partially with in him?
Big Boss - As you can see he's naked, but look at his feet... he appears to levertating.

TGS 2005 Preview - Famitsu Magazine

Aging - Snake has aged considerably and Otacon looks aged at least 10 years
Location - Its definately based in a part of a city(s)
New Metal Gears - Theirs 2 new Metal Gears, one Gekko the other a Version 2 of MK II by Otacon to help Solid Snake
Shot? - Snake requires a jab for something (Fox Die? Genes?)
The Patch - The eye patch is a visual interface with the small metal gear and Otacon. Note the small lense at its base

Date - The year is possibly 2019
("X years after Big Shell incident" (X is 10 in roman numerals))
Events - Snake using CQC robs a soldier of his gun and his life, Snake is hiding from a patrol including Drone Metal Gears, Snake meets Otacon (MKII) after a chat they run out to fight, Snake then discuses The Cell chip with Otacon (Killzone video)

PMC's: They were vunerable to attacks, getting pre warnings of the Gekko's Assault
Gekko: The true power their jumping & kicking is shown
Gekko Wee!: It appears that after the battle they discret, is it scent?

Death: Snake can make himself look dead with the Octo camoflague
Gekko's IQ: They will checkout any movement and any unusual heat sources
Mask: An optional mask will allow Snake to completely camoflague into the background
Metal Gear MK II: It now has an Optical Camo and a taser cord
Movement: Snake can now role sideways, shoot on his back and has new CQC moves

Nano's: They are into their 3rd generation, the 1st generation was based on Naomi's Fox Die!
Evil Mission: Liquid is after the SOP, to do this he needs the key to controlling soldiers with nano machines
SOP: Probably means "State of the Patriots"
Campbell: Has sent Solid Snake on a mission to assasinate Liquid / Ocelot
Naomi: Seen talking to Liquid and also boards his helicopter
PMC Group: Liquids PMC Group is called "Praying Mantis"
Meryl: Is after helping Snake with his goals and to end this war
Battlefield Control: The Nano's in the PMC's bodies starts to make them convulse, before they start fighting and killing each other in a confused state.
Raiden: is not afraid of dying and stabbing him doesn't seem to faise him
Vamp: Is even more superhuman than he was in MGS2 and like his former love Fotune is out for an honourable death at the hands of a worthy opponent
